This Shimano Curado I is in the mainstream of low-profile design baitcasting reels. It comes with X-Ship technology and Shimano’s Stable Spool Design (S3D) that gives this Shimano Curado reel an extreme smooth retrieving.
An externally-adjustable SVS Infinity braking system gives you the ability to adjust your cast precisely in any conditions. Its Stable Spool Design virtually eliminates spool vibration and exponentially improves the consistency of rotation and smoothness.
To ensure durability it comes with five ball bearings, and 1 Super Stopper Anti Reverse roller bearing; and the other advantages include Super Stopper Anti Reverse, Power AL aluminum frame, Cross Carbon Drag and Super Free Spool. As we earlier said this reel perfect for both salt and freshwater fishing.
1. Shimano Stable Spool Design (S3D)
The spool comes with Shimano Stable Spool Design (S3D) which for delivering a smoother casting experience by reducing the vibration that often accompanies bait casters. This makes the spool very lightweight and uniformly balanced and stable.
2. SVS Infinity Brake System
The SVS Infinity Brake System for any types of casting application. Previous versions of SVS only provided six brake settings. The new SVS Infinity provides 4-6 settings with an adjustable brake dial to ensure wider and more precise range for optimal control and performance under all conditions.
3. Five shielded A-RB anti-rust stainless steel ball bearings
For the ultimate protection against corrosion, the bearings are shielded from both sides by A-RB anti-rust stainless steel. For the protection, you can use it in any salt, fresh or dirty water and you will get a smooth bearing.
4. X-Ship for great gear durability
For greater efficiency, the reel comes with X-Ship, it stands for Extra, Smooth & High Power. The pinion gear transferred power from handle to the spool. This gear increases the efficiency of the reel and adds to the durability over the lifetime of the reel and it also supported by two shielded A-RB roller bearings.
